Ho-Hum…

I recently upgraded my Flickr account to Pro… yet now I’m paranoid about putting watermarks and copyrights all over my pictures….

Grrr….

Yes, this is a short post… only because I can’t think of anything else to write.

Wow!

I’m absolutely stunned with the amount of traffic this site has been getting since the last time I was here.

I’m back in the photography game now since my recent purchase of a Nikon D3000.  I’ve named it Greta (don’t ask) and we’ve been becoming friends ever so slowly.  Seeing as this is a major upgrade from a normal point-and-shoot Sony Cybershot DSC-T50, I have a LOT of learning to do.

I’ve also discovered that my old Sony is selling for $10 more than what I paid for my brand new DSLR.  And by “old” I mean at least three years.  Wow…

In other photography news, I acquired my grandfather’s old Argus Model A camera from the pre-WWII era.  It has a bit of wear on it (old green moldy stuff from the case it was in for decades) but it’s nothing that a dedicated weekend of work can’t clean up.  Once I figure it out I’ll put some pictures up.

Aside from cameras, I’m currently looking for a way to copyright my photos without ruining them.  I’m extremely focused on getting my photos “out there” and would hate to have my effort go unappreciated.

Right now I’m going to wrap this up and revamp this website.  I have a feeling it’ll be used quite a bit in the near future…
